Tues class cancelled

Hey Guys, i'm going to have to cancell this Tues class.

For those who are interested i have a shoot wrestling belt requirements book for sale. $10 for a printed version or $5 for the pdf.I'll have a copy at the gym for those that want a look.

Memberships

Hey Guys a new grappling year is starting, that means memberships are due ( gotta pay the rent)lol.

Hope we have a good turnout and looking forward to seeing everyone in the new year.

Here's a clip of Gokor Chivichyan, Gokor is judo Gene Lebells top student in catch/judo, he was also a sambo and judo champion in the former soviet republic of Armenia where he was born. Gokor is the trainer of all the Armenian boys like Karo, Manny,Sako and Roman. Amazing skill. My coach Ron also had the pleasure of training with him in California.
I also included a clip of a seven yr old wrestling just to remind us how old and slow we are.

Class schedule

This Wed mma class will be cancelled, Mike and Brandon are going to Winnipeg to fight. I will be there on Tues and Thurs and Ryan on Mon

This Mondays bjj class is cancelled, Ryan is in Korea.
Tues night no-gi will resume on Nov 29th.

For those new to the gym here is the schedule

Mon night Brazilian jiujitsu (you must have a gi(uniform) for this class)
Tues no-gi grappling (resumes Nov 29th)
Wed mma (this class will involve striking and sparring drills)
Thurs gi and no-gi grappling

All classes start at 7pm.

No gi seminar

Looks like we are going to be hosting Mike Martelle from Kingston for a sub grappling seminar sometime in November.
Mike is the owner of Grizzly gym and is a 5th degree black belt in submission arts wrestling japan.Mike won the world championship in 2007 and is also a bjj brown belt under PRIDE legend Enson Inoue.
Hopefully we will have a good turnout and support the gym. Here's a couple of clips of Mike and Enson

Fall Schedule

Hey Guys, fall time has arrived. Time to start training again. There are some new changes this fall.
We will be having twelve weeks courses for students,
the first running from Sept 19th to Dec 19th. The cost will be $159 plus tax. You can take as many classes as you want.Please register on or before Sept 19th.
The schedule has changed as well.

Mon: bjj 7-830
Tues: no gi grappling 7-830
Wed: mma 7-830
Thurs: no gi 7-8
bjj 8-9
If there is enough interest i will start a sambo class Sat morning in the winter.
